At long last - the new meeting wing in Baiersdorf has been officially opened. Following carneval tradition in Germany, the opening of the new meeting rooms was toasted with champagne and jam donuts. We are all very much looking forward to using the newly renovated rooms for the first time.

BRODOS KEEPS GROWING 

Our prospects for the future are looking good. As well as enjoying commercial success, there have also been some changes from an HR point of view. We are growing and growing, welcoming more and more staff to the Brodos team in Baiersdorf. This naturally also means that we need more room for meetings, as well as video and telephone conferences. New rooms were urgently needed as a result. No sooner said than done. Work was started straightaway in July 2015, with a whole new wing being added to our premises.

The renovation work in the first floor next to our advertising department took roughly eight months. We worked hard, hammering, drilling, painting and being creative. The result: almost 300 m² of great new meeting rooms, which are not only a real eye-catcher, but also boast the latest technology. The rooms are equipped not only with polycom video conference facilities, but also new computers, wall monitors, ceiling speakers, connection points for laptops, floor tanks and smart room finders. 

Each room has been given its own name e.g. Cloud, Garden, Library or Loft, and has been fitted out accordingly, with the decor and fittings harmonising to create a perfect visual impression. A further highlight is the connected store at the entrance to the meeting wing, which is fitted out with the Brodos furniture concept, the kiosk system and the online shop, perfect for demonstration purposes.

A heartfelt thank you goes of course to our entire shop team, our IT and the advertising department, who all put such lot of effort into the renovation works. Thanks to them, we really can be proud of our new meeting area!

Up to 5 people can give free rein to their creativity in the colourful meeting room Atelier.
 

Opposite the meeting wing, the new hot and cold drinks station ensures that no-one is left short.
