Our event Local Hero Convention by my-eXtra &  Local Hero Awards by my-eXtra is to kick off on 12th March. We are ready to welcome our Top 200 Local Hero businesses in Germany in the Vogel Convention Center in Würzburg, awarding the sought after Local Hero Award to the best of them.

The curtain is to be raised on our Top 200 Local Hero companies once again in March. The popular and at the same time most important trade event for our partners is taking a new format this year, as our Local Hero Convention & Local Hero Awards.  Only the 200 most successful Local Hero companies will receive an invitation. These include cooperation partners, partner shops and independent retailers, but also companies which Brodos knows to be successful and which suit the Local Hero concept.

ALL ABOUT THE CONNECTED STORE CONCEPT

The event starts at 10am with the Local Hero Convention, the industry gathering for the retail industry. Leading manufacturers and network operators will be there, displaying their latest offers. The main focus of the Convention will be on the cross channel concept of the connected store and our local hero marketing. Above all, the Convention should make it clear that extending the shop concept will create the perfect connection between online and offline.

Guests will have the opportunity to chat and find out all about special offers, but will also be able to make the most of exclusive offers and have a look at future trends. The keynote speech by Brodos CEO Dominik Brokelmann will once more give exciting insights.

AND THE WINNER IS...

The excitement is set to mount in the evening, when the Local Hero awards start at 7pm. Retailers will be given a red carpet welcome before the prestigious Local Hero awards ceremony starts, as well as being treated to a gala dinner with several courses. During the gala the best Local Hero retailers will be awarded the sought after awards in eight different categories, including a surprise.

Our Local Heros already looked forward to having their achievements recognized with the awards last year.

The evening is to come to a close at the after show party with Barbed Wire, which has been awarded the title of the best show band in Germany, and which is set to keep the party buzzing until the early hours of the morning.
