Frankfurts BlackBerry Pop Up-Store a connected store
Our cross-channel platform “the connected store” was successfully set up in September in the new BlackBerry Pop Up-Store in Frankfurt am Main. We fitted out the store with the brodos.net Kiosk system and our own digital signage solution my-store.TV. One of Blackberry’s specialised mobile communications partners provided trained sales staff. The pop-up store is open until the end of the year and is located in a top location on Frankfurt’s main shopping street Zeil in the MyZeil shopping centre, one of the biggest shopping and leisure worlds in Germany and home to a myriad of brand names.
The BlackBerry Pop Up Store: Completely fitted out with our technology.
Already in use: The brodos.net Kiosk System
The brodos.net system is used during sales talks. In the Kiosk area, end customers can use the touch monitor to call up lots of information, pictures, videos and prices updated on a daily basis for all devices. The customers have the option of purchasing the chosen device in the pop-up store and then using the StoreShip Click & Collect function to either have it delivered to the shop or to their home address.
Brodos POS hardware is used to make the actual purchase.
Digital signage and sales staff
The digital signage system my-store.TV plays moving advertising on screens throughout the store. A channel specially set up for the purpose shows product innovations, explains the simple ordering process at the Kiosk and provides contents updated on a daily basis. In addition, one of Blackberry’s mobile communications specialist partners has provided trained sales staff who are responsible for processing all card sales in the store, such as signing new contracts or extending exisiting contracts.
